| The idea of the black sublabel of Encoded Records was the main motivation to raise a new digital label. We wanted to bring back pure, rough and energizing Techno to our dancefloors. We felt that the original definition of Techno more and more changed over the years and now defines something that hasn't got to do much with our definition and the original feeling. Techno has always been a sound of the maximum, increasing all it's energy in endless buildups to explode into a "big bang". But lately techno more and more seemed to become a sound of the minimum, the afterhour, starting to sound "clippy cloppy", getting slower and loosing all it's energy. We don't want to bring back the 90s to our dancefloors, but what we want to keep is the original feeling and develope it: Techno at it's maximum influenced by new producing techniques and developed to a mind tripping level. Looking for the roots of techno and acid Encoded Black is aiming to sound innovative and classy at the same time, this label stands for energetic techno and acidlines that increase maximum power! Fat drums, driving percussions, bubbling 303 madness, Encoded Black comes along with compressed pressure and keeps the rough machine sound alive! |
